As far as performance goes, the turbocharged
1.4-liter, 4-cylinder engine does extremely well off-road. And because of its
short stature and bulk on the sides it’s nearly impossible to get this thing
stuck. A true off-roader’s dream vehicle. Plus, for those weekend trailblazers,
the 2017 Renegade comes with the option of all-wheel-drive. This particular
system uses all four wheels when engaged, unlike most other systems which
engage all four wheels only when the vehicle begins to struggle.
